Bathroom work is personal in a way that a water heater is not, and the single most important line on this page is about a question we do not ask.

Quick answer

Nobody here asks why you want the tub changed. There is no form anywhere on the site. A telephone call records a ZIP code, what you want done, and the number it came from, and it reaches one contractor.

TubSet is a referral service, not a contractor. We connect homeowners with independent contractors. Contractors are required to hold whatever credential their state or municipality demands. Every state page sets out who licenses plumbers there and where to check, so you can confirm before work begins. We carry out no work, we sell no fixtures, we do not set prices, and we never charge homeowners anything — the contractors in our network pay us when we route them a call.

We do not ask why

People change a bathtub for all sorts of reasons. Some of those reasons are private and some of them are nobody’s business at all.

We never ask for one. To route a call we need to know that it is tub work and roughly where you are, and that is the whole of it. If you volunteer a reason we do not write it down, we do not file it against your number, and it is not part of any record that outlasts the call. What the contractor needs in order to plan the job — a grab bar, a low threshold, a seat — is a specification, and you can give it as one.

What the call itself leaves behind

A routing platform notes the number that dialed, when the call started, how long it lasted and the general area it came from. The area is there to find somebody who works near you.

There is no form anywhere on this website, so that call is the only way this site can receive anything about you at all.

Who receives it

One contractor: the one who takes the call and would be doing the work. They hear the specification because they need it.

It goes nowhere else. We do not sell contact details, we do not assemble lists, and nothing from a call is passed to anybody marketing unrelated products.

The pages themselves

Static files. No advertising trackers, no third-party scripts, no cookies set by us. Which pages you read here is not recorded and is not reported to anyone.

Having the record wiped

Email [email protected] with the number you called from and ask us to delete it. The number is the only thing the record is stored against.

Changing a tub is mostly about what is behind it.Tell us what you want done and we will route you to a contractor in your area, found from your ZIP code, who can look at the wall and the floor before quoting. No charge to you, and we will not ask you why. Anything else needing a plumber is fine to bring up while we have you.
